Zimmermann The Esplanade

Zimmermann The Esplanade

Zimmermann has a beautiful new AW15 Ready-to-Wear collection and I absolutely love it. Romanticising the art of dressing up, The Esplanade combines 60s sophistication with seductive, feminine tailoring and pays sentiment to suburban Sydney soirées of times past.

Careful cutouts, statement colours and intricate lace detailing evoke a sense of occasion. Colour makes a bold statement; blocked in unique combinations of baby pink and burgundy, dove grey and teale, navy and mustard.

To add just one of these pieces to my closet this season would be a dream. My wish list includes the Esplanade Block Shift Dress . Silk Swing Tank . Rhythm Lace Links Blouse . Rhythm Lace Link Skirt . Arcadia Braid Shift Dress . Esplanade Tuxedo Dress and the Platform Heel. View the Zimmermann The Esplanade collection here.

I absolutely love the new campaign from Keepsake The Label Arcadia. I mean, who doesn’t love beautiful clothes teamed with equally as beautiful magnolia flowers and other blooms. The actual collection is a versatile range of separates, strapless, mid-length, cropped, long sleeved and maxi styles. There’s a beautiful floral print, large scale check as well as lots of block colour.

I’m most excited to add the Fast Forward Silk Top in Black and the Little Love Maxi Dress in Black (left in the top picture) to my closet, and my other must have pieces include the Begin Again Shorts . Twisted Fiction Top in Black and Sweet Surrender Coat. John Frieda Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner

Beauty Notes | John Frieda Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Collection

John Frieda Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner

All hair can benefit from a little love now and again. Especially my sad, limp blonde locks which have been subjected to the frigid winter air and become something more alike to a bundle of dry, brittle, split-ended sticks, rather than my desired bouncy mermaid locks. That is why I have been in desperate need of additional hydration (damage repair) of late.

For the last few weeks I’ve swapped my regular Shampoo and Conditioner for the John Frieda Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner as well as the John Frieda Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Masque; a weekly hair mask designed to help protect against breakage. The best thing about the Masque? Unlike others on the market you only have to leave it on for three to five minutes to see results.

After just a few weeks my hair feels thicker, looks glossier and has a bit more weight to it than before. And whether due to these treatments or the weather, static and frizz have definitely disappeared! Shop these John Frieda Products for yourself here.

Sir The Label Isobel Drape Dress

sirthelabel_dress

There’s nothing like being invited to a formal occasion and realising that you have nothing suitable to wear. Just two weeks ago I was invited to a wedding and literally had to go to the achieves of my closet (which is really just packed away suitcases full of everything I use to wear) to pick out dresses which I haven’t worn in over a year, maybe even longer. While they were all beautiful and they ended up being fine, I really didn’t feel 100% comfortable in what I wore on the day.

I tried on every single option but none of them really suit my current style and they certainly don’t fit as they did when they were purchased. It’s always wonderful to think that we can own the same dress for years and years but some times they just get a little tired, which is why I think it’s still important to regularly add beautiful new dresses to your closet. Even if they are worth saving for a special occasion.

Enter the Isobel Drape Dress from Sir The Label. It’s everything I wish I had of worn to the wedding. The perfect shape, colour, not to mention the slit detail. Hindsight is a beautiful thing! Have something special coming up? Don’t make the same mistake I did. Shop the Isobel Drape Dress here.
