to be completely honest, while I have always admired the white suede brand, it has always been from afar . I once owned their cropped leather jacket but after i realised leather wasn’t really for me and I sold it on ebay. Since then I hadn’t really found anything else within their collections which I thought was my style .

Fast forward to winter 2014 and it seems the label has hit a ‘my style’ home run. I’m already falling head over heels for so many pieces, and I have to admit I found it hard to pick just a few pieces to show you from quite a large collection which is all very beautiful.

mlm is one of my very favourite australian labels. If you aren’t sure if you’re familiar with the labels previous collections, recall the team and slogan tees which recently emerged all over your instagram – yeezy, ritchie, jagger and moss. over the past 2 years its been hard to miss these signature pieces. 

mlm’s new autumn winter collection, the 101 story is an amazing collection of easy to wear timeless investment pieces. Ive never seen so much black, white, grey and navy in one range – and i love it. Every-day chic staples paired back with much loved basics including slouchy pants, shift dresses, easy overalls, stripes and cruella dalmatian print all having a dose of attitude. The collections highlights are the usual key leather, the ejection of faux fur and the slogan tees are back !

this seriously beautiful runway collection from topshop makes me so excited about winter – which has never ever happened before. ever. It even makes me want to leave the comfort of my couch and run out and buy chunky cable knit sweaters, fur and wool topcoats. I can’t wait to wear leather and loose lingerie inspired slips… and even though they are all cropped out the over the knee boot was such a treat – and a newly added essential to my winter closet wish list.

the new Alice Mccall autumn winter 2014 col­lec­tion ‘Liberty’ makes for a fem­i­nine trib­ute to graphic pop-art print, fol­lowed by a sub­tle, retro nod to looks of the mid-century 20th century. I always tend to sway to pieces which are predominately black so all the look book photos above showcase my favourite must have items. There are of course bolder, brighter coloured pieces within the collection which you can view for yourself by visiting the alice mccall website. my top picks in particular – the agra vneck smock and wool coat . now we are just left wait­ing for the first drop in-stores.
