Mondays are never fun but to help put a spring in your step I wanted to share with you the beautiful new Sir The Label Resort 16 collection. Shot in the stark desert landscape of California, the range features feminine silhouettes, relaxed ready-to-wear styles and sleek separates. Designed in classic shades of white, black, muted olive, sandy peach and a petite blue floral print.

Key pieces from the range include silk slip dresses, delicate camisoles and high-waisted shorts. All featuring the brands signature details, including bare shoulders, low necklines and side splits. I feel like this is the ultimate holiday capsule collection for any Christmas break. Easy and free flowing. It’s perfect for afternoon drinks on a warm afternoon or easily thrown over your swimwear after a day at the beach. Which is something to look forward to on a Monday!

The items currently on my radar for summer; The Siena Wrap Dress . Alyce Strapless Mini Dress and the Marthe Mini Dress II in Olive. I have to admit my actual shopping list is much longer, except the entire range is not online yet, so unfortunately I can’t share the name of every piece I want. You can see the entire Sir The Label Resort 16 collection online via their website here.

Finally some down time! I had originally planned to spend my Sunday catching up on work, spring cleaning and other things. But after a particularly tiring week, I decided that I needed some time off to recharge, refresh and unwind. So when I woke up this morning I decided that I was going to do absolutely nothing. I didn’t even leave the house. And just had to order delivery because I couldn’t bare the thought of changing out of my silk Keepsake pyjamas.

Instead I just laid in bed, flicked through magazines (which I always buy, but ever actually find the time to read) and watched an abundance of sunlight streaming in. I did start to feel slightly guilty when I realised that I hadn’t updated my blog all week. Which lead me to open my laptop for the first time today and decide to share the new Cmeo Collective Momentum collection above.

The Cmeo Collective Momentum collection first debuted at MBFWA earlier this year and was among my favourite runway shows. The range features feminine silhouettes with ribbon details, dramatic asymmetrical ruffles, floaty hemlines and micro pleats. Along side relaxed styled suit jackets with fluted sleeves and structured pieces. And splashed with a neutral colour palette of blush, blue, black, white and unique prints.

Key styles from the collection I’ve been waiting out for, that are also perfect for the Melbourne Spring Carnival; The We’ll Be Alright Top in black . Spelt Out Print Dress in black square print . Spelt Out Long Sleeved Print Dress in black square print . Stumbling Playsuit in black . Spelt Out Skirt in black and Big Dreams Print Dress in blue. Finally a chance to check in after another busy week. Yesterday my boyfriend left Sydney bound for London. It’s always hard when he leaves as we never know how long it will be before we see each other again. I returned home from the airport, pretty miserable and spent the rest of the day spring cleaning and re-organising my place. I know that most people hate cleaning, but I’ve always found it incredibly therapeutic. Especially when I’m feeling sad, or stressed or anxious. Nothing compares to a beautiful and organised space that can inspire a little magic in any ordinary day.

I’ve also turned to retail therapy and been indulging in a little online browsing this afternoon. Consequently increasing the length of my current spring wardrobe wish list, with some additional pieces from the new Keepsake The Label Resonant collection (featured above). I know I shouldn’t be shopping but who could resist a range filled with beautiful lace separates, sheer silhouettes and voluminous dresses, set along-side frills, pleats and elegant draping?! In a dusky palette of pink, peach and blue alongside classic monochrome.

The pieces which will be perfect from this season until the next; The Capture Maxi Dress in black, the Bitter Sweet Maxi Dress in navy and Translate Midi Dress in Black. I’ve also fallen for some of the pieces in the collection ideal for cooler weather; Including the Mocking Bird Coat in black and the Listen Out Long Sleeved Pleated Dress in pastel blue. You can find the entire Keepsake The Label Resonant collection at the Fashion Bunker by clicking here. And feel free to shop until your hearts content!

Just checking in briefly to apologise for my radio silence. It wasn’t my intention to take a break from blogging while I was in LA. However there were so many places to explore during my time away. And with a limited amount of time to do so, I didn’t want to miss a thing. So I thought it would be ok to take some time out and have a much needed break.

Now that I am home I have to admit. I left my heart in LA. It was a city I found easy to fall in love with and I can’t wait to share my LA itinerary in more detail. As well as let you know all about the special and sentimental items I returned home with. In the mean time though, I wanted to get back to sharing some of my favourite new season collections that arrived in Australian stores while I’ve been away. Which of course is great news for my post holiday retail therapy requirements, but not so great for my bank balance!

First, the beautiful new Maurie And Eve Summer Collection above. I have to admit, Maurie and Eve haven’t really been on my radar the past few seasons, but this collection of stylish essentials with just a hint of attitude may just be my favourite to date. The pieces I love; The Pilu Singlet . Farlil Dress in black and the amazing Akta Skirt in black or navy. The Maurie And Eve Summer Collection is available to pre-order through the Maurie And Eve website here or purchase selected items which are already available at David Jones here.

I feel like I’ve been so absent from everything this week; the past few days have been characterised by a never-ending cycle of deadlines, late nights, coffee, coffee, deadlines, coffee. As I try to finalise everything before leave for LA tomorrow morning. However the good news is that I finally feel as though I’m on-top of everything that needs to be completed pre-holiday. And to my surprise apart from a few last minute pieces which I’ve only just picked up from the dry-cleaner, my packing is complete.

With that in mind I spent last night browsing my favourite online stores from the comfort of my own couch. First up. The Fashion Bunker. Where I fell head over heels in love with the new Keepsake The Label Elemental Collection. Featuring delicate florals, sheer details, over-sized frills and textured fabrics. The range delivers the perfect balance of structured, feminine pieces that you’ll wear now and treasure forever. And in the spirit of the new season, I’d advise that you don’t save these pieces for something special. Instead make every day this spring a party day.

The key pieces from this collection; The All Your Dress in black . All Yours Mini Dress in black . Two Fold Mini Dress in black and the Head Wave Mini Dress in dark floral. I’m lucky I won’t have to rush to pick up anything special before I leave as I’ll definitely be dropping by the Fashion Bunker Store in Down Town Los Angeles while I am there. However if you can’t make it to either of their stores (in Adelaide or LA)  you can always find the entire Keepsake The Label Elemental Collection via the Fashion Bunker website here.
