Sir The Label Spring 16 Collection

This weekend has been all crisp sheets, fresh hair, beach walks, window sill light, sunshine and making lists of all the things I’m looking forward to wearing this spring. And just to make it clear, this most definitely includes the incredible new Sir The Label Spring 16 collection above. A range consisting of easy breezy beautiful pieces just ready-to-wear and ready to be packed into my suit case bound for LA come September!

Bassike Spring 16 Collection

If there’s one label that has always had a place in my closet it’s Bassike. I can still remember my very first purchase all those years ago. Consisting of organic jersey tees and long sleeved tops in grey marle and black. All so lovingly lived-in that I ending up wearing them to bed as my winter pyjamas. Almost eight years on and I’m still captivated by the concept of easy, breezy and beautiful basics. Simple pieces that are as equally as perfect to wear when your lazying around at home or if you’re going to relaxed lunch on a Sunday afternoon.

I recently added a few more basics to my Bassike collection. All with my upcoming trip overseas in mind; Including a pair of Slouch Jersey Pants and an Oversize Curve Hem Sweat. Both in black of course! They’ll prove to be indispensable layering pieces over the next few months, as well as comfortable and chic 14 hour plane attire too. The new Bassike spring collection launched today and there is no denying how beautiful it is. I’m certain that Bassike pile of mine will be growing a little taller in the near future. Keepsake The Label Alchemy Collection

There’s something so fresh, brand new, promising and hopeful about Mondays. Especially when I consider the exciting week ahead; My time frantically divided between agency meetings, campaign photo shoots, a spring summer launch, a new store opening and finally a luncheon for the Bledisloe Cup Festival Race Day at Royal Randwick Race Course this weekend.

There is of course the stunning new Keepsake The Label Alchemy collection (above) lifting my spirits as well. A range which combines current trends and classic shapes. Featuring feminine pleating, sheer draping and geometric lace. And created in my favourite colours, including black, navy, fig and khaki. There’s the perfect mix of pretty dresses, free flowing skirts, long sleeved tops and gorgeous coats that are suitable for day or night.

The Reflections Dress in French Navy (first picture above) is at the top of my shortlist for the Randwick Races this weekend. Acler Spring Summer Collection

Although I have so many beautiful things to share with you, I’ve realised it’s been almost a week since my last post! During the day I’ve been busy at work and then of an evening and this weekend I’ve just been laying low. Bunkered down with holiday planning and preparations for my trip overseas in September. I’ve also been busy compiling my packing list. One which already includes a handful pieces from the beautiful new Acler spring summer collection above. A line which focuses on the beauty of fabric, texture and colour, with the perfect combination of dresses and separates for any capsule wardrobe or summer vacation.

When it comes to holiday dressing, the first thing that goes into my suitcase is a dress that gets my heart racing. One which can be worn effortlessly during the day with a pair of flats and then of an evening dressed up with heels for dinner and drinks. The Foley Dress (in the very first image above) is that dress for me. And I’m certain I won’t be going anywhere without it come spring.
