What to wear Australia Day

What To Wear Australia Day

What to wear Aus Day

Australia Day is fast approaching and while it may not be the typical Australia Day long weekend we’re use to, this celebration still calls for a suitably stylish outfit…

If you’re spending the day outdoors, chances are you’ll be spending hours in the sunshine and salty air. Reach for cooling whites and loose separates that glide on easily after a long day on the sand.

If you’re spending the day at a BBQ or house party, I’m almost certain you’ll celebrate into the evening. Comfort is key. A simple slip dress with a long sleeve can easily take you from sunrise to sunset. Style with fine gold jewellery and a simple pair of flats.

For quick, easy shopping click on the name of the item below to head straight to the direct site. And don’t forget to place your order ASAP to make sure that your new outfit arrives in time for Australia Day.

The Fifth Label Workshop

I like to keep my look simple at the best of times, but especially in summer. Investing in pieces which are easily thrown on in-between running errands and spending hours in the sunshine and salty air. Black is a staple in my wardrobe, but when the temperatures rise, I’ll always try to add a little colour and some light-weight denim. Avoiding items which need to be teamed with heels, and always turning to flats.

This is why I have fallen in love with the new collection, Workshop from The Fifth Label. Designed for comfort and created for style, the range includes oversized fits, loose silhouettes, easy leisurewear and soft fabrics. Perfect for the Australian summer. Key pieces include cowl back dresses and camisoles, contrast denim shifts and exaggerated peplum pieces. All created in a monochrome colour palette, plenty of navy and two exclusive bohemian prints.

Style notes : During the day, team pieces with salt-dried hair, slip on sandals, fine gold jewellery and a bikini. For those hot summer nights, add a touch of mascara, tan leather sandals and an evening bag.

Must-have pieces from the Workshop collection include; The Age Of Aquarius Dress in Black . Age Of Aquarius Pants in Black and the Radio Edit Top in Circular Print with matching Radio Edit Culottes. To view additional items from the collection and shop for yourself visit the Fashion Bunker here.
