Florist runs, coffee catch-ups and a manicure were on the agenda today. Before coming home and settling into a very relaxed evening on the couch, punctuated by a spot of online shopping. With summer on the way out, I’m determined to get a head start on my new season wardrobe. So, for the past few weeks I have been frequently visiting my favourite online stores to see what’s new. As well as musing over all of the new season trends.

I instantly fell in love with the Stevie May Chantilly Collection above. Featuring vintage silhouettes, opulent fabrics, romantic details and an elegant take on cool cottons. The range has a distinct bohemian feel with enough polish to make it work for every day. Injected with a colour palette of white, black and pastel blue. And set alongside delicate embroidery, crochet lace, sheer textures and ruffled trims. This collection comprises all the must-have styles of an ultra-desirable wardrobe.

The first addition to my own closet from this collection was the Black Heart Dress. Crafted from a beautiful pleated cotton, it’s the kind of piece that makes you wonder how you ever lived without it. Other pieces I love from this collection; The Burning Desire Dress in black . Mercury Flounce Dress in black . Lady Of The Night Maxi Dress in white . Harper Top in floral print and Plateau Maxi Dress in black. I can’t believe that January has already flashed by and here we are in the second month of the year! As I mentioned in my post at the beginning of January, I’m not one to usually make new years resolutions. However I did want to achieve a few things this year so I shared them here. Now that one month has passed I thought that I’d reflect on each of them briefly in order to hold myself accountable, as well as tell you how I am going so far.

So, there is no denying that I have continued to put off yoga, finishing my e-book, booking my first trip to Byron and planning another trip home. But they are all on my radar; Along with many other plans. I have still been terribly indecisive. However I am doing my best to stop worrying about all the things that haven’t even happened yet. And trust that everything will just fall into place eventually.

On the other hand I have finally stepped out of my comfort zone and in front of the camera. And even though I’ll never be able to pull off that nonchalant non-smile other girls on instagram seem to execute with such ease, I’m slightly more comfortable with having my picture taken and feeling a little less awkward. If you’re looking for the pictures I’ve shared two new posts so far on my Instagram account here.

As for my final goal, I’m doing quite well. But lets be honest. Have you even known a girl who had trouble spoiling herself? Of course I haven’t gone crazy and spent all of my money or anything. I am much too sensible for that. But I did go shopping. And I am the proud new owner of the new Olympus Pen EL-8 Camera which is something I’ve wanted to invest in for a little while now. As well as a few new summer dresses.

Apart from those few things, I’ve been saving my next shopping session for the new season. In particular, a few pieces from the new Viktoria And Woods Passage Collection above. Featuring fluid silhouettes, easy to wear staples and plenty of denim, these loosely tailored pieces with a modern spin will slip effortlessly into any wardrobe. They will also be perfect for the transeasonal weather ahead, which can be completely un-predictable here in Sydney.

As for the particular pieces currently on my wish list; They include the Sullivan Denim Jacket . Rafferty Tie Crew in grey. Arden Tee in white and the Clash Boyfriend Jean. I also love the Academy Trench in Olive and Valentina Coat in Grey; But I’m not certain they’re as essential. I’ll keep you posted. A super quick update today before I start to make my way through an over flowing inbox and a pile of clothes I promised myself I would finally list on eBay sometime over the weekend. But never got the chance. And with a brand new season about to begin I’m cleaning out my closet just in time to make space for the beautiful new collections which are about to hit stores. In particular, the Camilla And Marc Ready To Wear collection above.

Filled with closet classics, the ones you can rely, time and again. This collection from Camilla And Marc features beautiful pieces that you will still be wearing in 20 years time and yet, still satisfy your current yearning for of the moment designs. Checking in for a hot second before escaping to the beach. For those who don’t live in Sydney it has been incredibly warm this week with temperatures reaching around about 40 degrees for the past few days. I’ve spent today running errands in the comfort of air conditioning and just returned home to find that my house is basically a sweat box. But before I make my way somewhere way cooler, I’m determined to share with you the Keepsake The Label Eclipse collection. Which is, in my opinion, one of their most beautiful collections to date.

Sophisticated romance combined with an air of elegance provides a fresh take on traditional forms of evening wear. Fusing feminine silhouettes with a contemporary attitude. Lush floral prints on mini dresses and play suits, as well as bohemian style slip dresses put the focus on laid-back luxury. On the lighter side, fresh ivory compliments feminine draping, lace details and slimline cuts.

My favourite pieces from the collection so far; The Say You Will Top in navy . Lost Lover Bodice in black . Say You Will Skirt in navy . Too Soon Mini Dress in navy print . Two Minds Maxi Dress in black . Two Minds Mini Dress in black . Lost Lover Mini Dress in black and the Lost Lover Dress in black. To shop the entire Keepsake The Label Eclipse collection at the Fashion Bunker click here. You will definitely want to see the rest of the range. In the mean time I’ll be at the beach. Which is sure to be refreshing and so good for the soul.

Lucy Folk Gold Pearl Diver Bracelet

I spent the weekend doing only things that make me happy and it was the best ever. On Sunday I walked to Gordan’s Bay from Randwick and decided, why stop? I’ve been so unbelievably lazy for the past couple of months. So I walked all the way to Bondi. I have to admit it was a stretch for me. But I’m so glad I did. While I was there I finally had a chance to grab something delicious from Mr Topper’s Toast Bar; Which as the name suggests specialises in Avocado Toast! I love breakfast food so this place has been on my ‘must-visit’ list for a while now.

I also had the chance to satisfy my current gold obsession which first began in LA a few months ago, when I was gifted the most beautiful Chanel bag with gold hardware. Shortly after I selected some pieces from Rumi Neely’s Label You Are Am I; Including a gold lighter and choker with gold detail. Since returning to Sydney it’s gotten slightly out of control. Gold homewares, gold hardware on my new Chanel wallet and finally a trip to freedom to purchase a beautiful brass (gold) coloured lamp.

Yesterday in Bondi came across such a stunning bracelet by Lucy Folk in her new Bondi Boutique Playa (Spanish for beach). For those who aren’t familar with Lucy Folk, she is best known for her bold imagination and contemporary designs adorned with pearls, crotchet and unique textures. The Pearl Diver Bracelet is one of the label’s most popular designs. Crocheted by hand using metallic-gold thread and accented with ten freshwater pearls. I usually wear delicate pieces of jewellery however I’m willing to make an exception with this incredible piece. You can find it online to purchase here.
