Coming back to a whisper of summer has gotten me in the mood to think about a complete new-season wardrobe overhaul. I used to wear a lot of dresses and I’m starting to miss how easy and effortless it really was. I’ve started scouting around for smock style and mid-length styles with a hope of finding one piece that will see me through the next few months.

Aje are known for their particularly polished take on tough femininity, raw beauty and effortlessly cool style. Their latest collection, Equilibrium is the perfect mix of fluid silhouettes and breezy dresses that are understated enough for the everyday, yet smart enough for any occasion.

My favorite items from the collection include a range of exceptionally made pieces that are easy to wear. These include the Veil Slip Dress, Veil Cami, Venetia Tee, Gracious Cut Out Mini Dress in Emerald, Run Free Maxi Dress and the Gracious Trench in Black. I really leaned into lockdown dressing during the pandemic, and while I’m excited for life to go back to normal, I don’t think I’m ready to abandon easy elegance in favor of all-out glamor just yet.

That being said, relaxed silhouettes are the perfect way to transition out of loungewear into something slightly more elevated. Which is why the latest collection from Matin Studio shot straight to the top of my wish list. It’s the perfect mix of beautiful loose fitting linen pieces, wide leg pants and silk gathered dresses.

My favorite items from the new collection include the Low Back Silk Dress, Full Sleeve Top, Full Sleeve Mini Dress, Tiered Silk Dress and Arch Pocket Wool Coat. All in black of course! The entire Matin Studio collection is available to shop online today here.

Bassike Karamatsu Crew Sweat

It’s been almost fifteen years since I first stepped into a Bassike store. I remember purchasing an organic jersey long sleeve tee and thinking to myself that I was being much too opulent. It was, at that point of time the most expensive basic that I had ever bought. All these years later my wardrobe is filled to the brim with Bassike pieces and it’s a brand I constantly turn to year after year.

This season I’ll be investing in their Karamatsu Crew Sweat. There are so many reasons why I need this in my life. Apart from the obvious, that it’s incredibly comfortable and chic. After living in sweatshirts for the past few months, there’s no reason why I shouldn’t add another to my wardrobe. When it comes to working from home, comfort wins every time. I’m all about loose layers, relaxed silhouettes and comfortable easy pieces, while making sure that every item is chic enough for daily zoom meetings or walks around the West Hollywood neighborhood.

My favorite place to secure seasonal staples is Australian brand, Sir The Label. From loose fitting dresses, to oversized linen shirts and comfortable draw-string style shorts, they have everything you need to take my definitive guide to lazy dressing to a whole new level, while still looking perfectly put together.

The pieces I love from their latest collection includes the Alma Cut Out Dress, Alma Panelled Dress,Alma Bralette and Alma Midi Skirt. All in black of course. As well as the Flore One Shoulder Mini Dress. To view the entire campaign and shop the Sir The Label Preface collection for yourself click here.

Three Feet Deep

Life right now is veined with simple gold. Morning lattes. Afternoon light. Short walks around my block. Catching up on sleep at every opportunity. Spending the days make-up free. Freshly painted nails. And of course, seeing my work published from styling projects completed before we all hit the pause button.

In hindsight it seems strange that I’ve never shared my work on this platform, but there’s no time like the present to start doing so. Above are some of my favorite images Ocean Drive Magazine’s March cover shoot which I was lucky enough to style, photographed by Rio Cam and starring beauty Charlotte McKinney.

Outfit details: Alexander Wang Tuxedo Hybrid Bodysuit. YSL Black Mini Skirt. Wolford Stockings. YSL Black Leather Anja 105 Pump. Retro Super Future Sunglasses. Attico Ostrich Embroidered Strapless Mini Dress. YSL Heels. Alessandra Rich Half Sphere Earrings. Versace Accessories Print Bra Top. Versace Brocade Flare Pant. And vintage earrings.

Shop all three of these looks at The Webster online here and read the Charlotte Unfiltered editorial in this months Ocean Drive Magazine here.
